Sometimes the most powerful reflections come from those we’ve supported.

At the end of one of our groups, a young person shared a quote from Nanny McPhee, linking it to her experience of the therapeutic journey.

At first, support can feel unfamiliar, and at times even unwanted.

But something begins to shift.

Over time, individuals grow in confidence, understanding, and self-trust, until they no longer need that support in the same way.

Not because it didn’t matter, but because it worked.

This is the essence of growth and empowerment.

These endings can feel bittersweet, but they are also deeply meaningful — a reflection of real and lasting change.
